Happy Birthday to the Duke of Kent
Today we’d like to wish our Grand Master, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, a very happy 82nd birthday!
He is a grandson of King George V and Queen Mary, and he has held the title of Duke of Kent for over 75 years.
He was initiated into Royal Alpha Lodge No. 16 on 16 December 1963, becoming our Grand Master at an Especial Grand Lodge held at the Royal Albert Hall on 14 June 1967.
We’d like to express our deep gratitude for his wise leadership over the past five decades – and wish him the very best in this, our historic Tercentenary year.
